Job Description:
Hybrid position The Financial Analyst will conduct routine and
adhoc analysis to support the development, implementation and
ongoing administration of compensation policies, programs, and
strategies for Phynet Dermatology Providers. Based on results of
analytics, they may identify focus areas and trends that require
action or review and recommend corrective or alternative actions to
resolve compensation-related problems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES Conducting research to understand industry and
organization-specific issues, including financial information,
compensation and rewards and corporate performance. Researching,
gathering and analyzing data to determine the appropriate salary
level and job title for existing and proposed positions. Conducting
market pricing, assisting in peer group selection, survey analyses,
interpreting salary data, financial modeling and special research
projects. Assisting with report and proposal writing as it relates
to describing and summarizing project objectives, methodologies,
analysis and results as well as proofing for accuracy. Work with
consultants on projects including program design, analysis,
budgeting and implementation. Responding to client-related
requests, as appropriate. Other tasks as assigned. EXPERIENCE,
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Bachelor's Degree Minimum 2-3 year's
compensation experience required, preferably with market-based
experience in a large healthcare system supporting a diverse work
environment. Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate
effectively regarding a variety of sensitive and complex issues.
Strong understanding of HR guidelines and regulations, processes
and data with excellent self-directed organizational and
communication (written and verbal) skills required. Excellent
mathematical, critical thinking, and analytical skills required
with exceptional problem-solving skills. Advanced database and
Microsoft Office Skills; strong analysis skills. Demonstrated team
player with a professional, positive attitude and willingness to be
flexible and creative. Ability to problem solve using judgment
sufficient to recognize limits of responsibility and direct issues
beyond level of responsibility to appropriate level of personnel.
EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree, accounting or finance preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as
safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add,
subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate,
ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING
ABILITY Must possess strong problem identification and resolution
skills. Must be able to effectively manage all levels of employees
and management. Must be well organized, have excellent written and
oral communication skills, and possess good leadership, supervisory
and planning skills. Ability to analyze statistics and financial
data and develop solutions. Ability to interpret a variety of data
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to
apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,
oral, or diagram form. Ability to manage complications involving
several variables in standardized situations.Job Type:
