Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The Loan
Compliance Officer 1 ensures the integrity of the bank’s lending
practices through rigorous file auditing and process control. This
role is highly collaborative, working with the fair lending and
loan operations to provide data and file-level findings for the
bank’s fair treatment monitoring. Essential Duties &
Responsibilities: Quarterly File Reviews : Execute comprehensive
quarterly audits of loan files to ensure adherence to TRID, HMDA,
Flood, and RESPA. Document findings and track remediation. Fair
Lending Collaboration : Partner with the Fair Lending Officer to
share data and identify potential patterns of concern. Assist in
the monitoring of lending practices. Loan Ops Quality Control: Work
with Loan Operations to implement quality control checkpoints and
reporting to mitigate risk during the origination process. Data
Compliance Team: Work with our internal data integrity team to
monitor trends, include in our reporting processes and identify
potential training needs. Training & Trends: Identify emerging
trends from audit findings and assist in developing targeted
training for loan officers and processing staff. Exam Prep: Support
internal/external exam preparation and data requests related to the
lending function. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Strong
knowledge of lending regulations (Reg B, Z, X, C, Flood, and Fair
Lending). Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments
while maintaining compliance departmental independence. High
attention to detail in file auditing and data validation. Minimum
Qualifications: Required: Five (5) years of banking experience.
Required: Two (2) years of lending compliance or loan audit
experience. Preferred: Experience with loan origination systems and
