Job Description:

Summary

  • Schedules appointments, gives information to callers. Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget. Coordinate equipment and computer setup for new hire nurses. Perform primary verifications for professional licenses, maintain current files for licenses and assist with licensure questions during requlatory inspections. Maintian departmental reports including attrition, expense reimbursement, budget and contact lists for over 800 staff members. Assist nurses with computer issues and track IT issues and tickets. Assist with letter mailing and letter writing for member notifications. Perform new hire testing. Other duties as required.Minimum Experience Required
    • Minimum of high school diploma or GED with some college preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience.Required Skills
      • Must be able to sit through shift, demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office applications. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; excellent problem solving and customer service skills are required. Must be self directed and highly motivated with an ability to multi-task. Outstanding computer skills a must. Must be able to take clear, concise meeting notes. Must be able to assist with computer troubleshooting. Must type at least 40 WPM. Must be able to hear and speak on the phone for an entire shift.
