Administrative position reporting directly to the Vice President and Controller and indirectly to other accounting personnel.

Community Health Systems ("CHSPSC, LLC") is one of the leading operators of general acute care hospitals. The consolidated organization owns and leases community hospitals that offer quality, cost-effective healthcare including a range of inpatient medical and surgical services, outpatient treatment and skilled nursing care. In over 60 percent of the markets served, CHS-affiliated hospitals are the sole provider of healthcare services.

CHSPSC, LLC seeks an Administrative Assistant for its Franklin, TN, headquarters' Accounting team.

Summary: Administrative position reporting directly to the Vice President and Controller and indirectly to other accounting personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

This position performs the following accounting and financial reporting duties:

  • Administrative support to the Vice President, Corporate Controller
  • Duplication and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly management reports;
  • Assistance with preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement filings, including word processing, printing and distribution;
  • Duplication and internal distribution of SEC documents, including 8-K and 10-Q;
  • Mail Distribution - pickup from mailroom, sort, distribute and returning outgoing mail to the mail room;
  • Copying of company documents for accounting department employees;
  • Preparation of documents for external storage (Iron Mountain);
  • Compilation and delivery of department supply orders;
  • Preparation of file folders;
  • Miscellaneous filing needs.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software, presentation software and database software.

    Strong organizational skills are essential to this position to ensure maintenance of required tasks and effective support of department management. Keeping a timely and punctual schedule with routine maintenance of outstanding tasks is a necessary part of this position.

    None.

    Education/Experience:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in office administration or similar degree is preferred.
    • Relevant experience with word processing and other administrative tasks is also preferred.
