Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• 70% team leadership, 30% hand on coding
  
• Review current project solutions, document the proposed solution according to the platform standards, review with involved groups, help engineering teams implement the solution end to end with low-level technical recommendations and code review.
  
• Coordinate between Project team and business stakeholders
  
• Document existing and new solution patterns.
  
• Support any post approval solution changes until project is successful in production.
  
• Build and implement cut over plan
  
• Actively contribute to platform and process improvements.
  
• Design, develop and deploy new functionalities for applications using Java and Python
  
• Setting up GKE "Kubernetes clusters
  
• Migrating data using dataflow
  
• Setting up service account to access source and target application
  
• Setting up cloudrun to execute any non-Kubernetes application
  
• Refactoring transactional and relational database to cater to the GCP environment
  
• Setting up role based security on target applications
  
  'Must Have' Experience:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 8+ years of application engineering / software development experience
    
  • 1+ years of leading a Scrum / application engineering team
    
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing Java based applications covering Core Java, Hibernate, Spring boot, JDBC.
    
  • 2+ years of Python & PySpark development experience
    
  • Kubernetes / GKE 2+ projects experience
    
  • 5+ years of SQL
    
  • 3+ years of Hive
    
  • 2+ years of experience building applications in any cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure)
    
  • 2+ years of experience with Maven and Eclipse or SBT
    
    
    'Nice to Have' Experience:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Dataflow
      
    • Apache Beam
      
    • GCP experience and certification(s)
      
    • Healthcare experience
      
    • Prior experience migrating on-prem applications to GCP
