Job Description Job Description Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician Location: Decatur, AL Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Rotating Swing Shift. About the Role We’re looking for a highly skilled Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical problems, and takes pride in keeping critical building systems running at peak performance. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of facility equipment — including HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, and other industrial utilities . Your work directly supports safe, efficient, and reliable operations across the facility. ? Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems , including rooftop units, air handlers, VAVs, and control systems Perform routine and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and hydronic systems Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, heat exchangers, and piping systems Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) Respond to equipment breakdowns and facility service requests Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and system conditions Support safety initiatives and comply with all regulatory requirements Collaborate with engineering, production, and external contractors as needed Qualifications 3 years of experience in industrial or commercial facilities maintenance Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics Experience with BAS/BMS systems (preferred) Familiarity with industrial safety practices (LOTO, confined space, PPE) EPA 608 Certification (preferred) Boiler operator license or experience (a plus) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, etc.) Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for training, certification, and career advancement A stable, safety-focused work environment Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Decatur, AL.
