Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Industrial Manufacturing Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to lead and execute capital projects, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and optimize manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and working directly on the shop floor to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage capital projects from conception through commissioning, including planning, budgeting, and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve safety. Work directly on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot issues, optimize equipment, and ensure smooth operations. Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency. Develop detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. Support equipment selection, installation, qualification, and validation activities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to manufacturing staff. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on capital projects and process improvements. Proven experience leading large capital projects and managing budgets and timelines. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation. Expertise in continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in [industry-specific experience, e.g., automotive, electronics, consumer goods]. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management (e.g., PMP).
