Prime Health Services (PHS) is a national medical cost containment company with a noteworthy PPO Network used by insurance carriers, TPA's, self-insureds, and governmental entities. Since 2001, we have specialized in medical provider network development and offer clients a tailored approach to medical cost containment: quality health care at discounted rates.

The Account Manager is responsible for locating in network providers, confirming provider participation, nominating out of network providers, running client centric reports and various other functions. This position is a key resource for the Client Services and Sales teams, aiding in the acquisition, growth, and retention of clients. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring client needs are met internally and is the client's main point of contact.

Essential Job Functions

  • Respond to all client request for information via phone or email
  • Populate a variety of client specific reports
  • Verify provider billing information and demographics via phone
  • Update provider information in our internal system as needed
  • Assist individuals and injured workers locate in network provider options
  • Assist with special projects as required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Communications, or related field of study from an accredited college or university
    • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
    • Experience working in a deadline driven environment


      • Exceptional organization and time management skills - ability to handle a high volume of accounts
      • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
      • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills (attention to detail)
      • Friendly, professional demeanor (customer focused)
      • Strong work ethic
      • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively
      • Excellent investigative and problem - solving skills
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
