Job Description:

The Account Manager is responsible for locating in-network providers, confirming provider participation, nominating out-of-network providers, running client centric reports, and various other functions. This position serves as a key resource for the Client Services and Sales teams, aiding in the acquisition, growth, and retention of clients. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring client needs are met internally and is the client's main point of contact. This position reports to the Manager of Account Management.Essential Job FunctionsRespond to all client requests for information via phone or emailPopulate a variety of client specific reportsVerify provider billing information and demographics via phoneUpdate provider information in the PHS internal system as neededAssist individuals and injured workers with locating in-network provider optionsAssist with special projects as required

Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Public Health, Communications, or related field of study from an accredited college or university1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industryExperience working in a deadline driven environmentCompetenciesExceptional organization and time management skills - ability to handle a high volume of accountsAbility to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong critical thinking, problem solving (attention to detail), and investigative skillsFriendly and professional demeanor (customer focused)Strong work ethicExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and OutlookWho We ArePrime Health Services is a national medical cost containment company offering a PPO network to the workers' compensation, group health, corrections, and auto liability markets.
