Apply for immediate consideration!JOB SUMMARY:Under the direction of the EVP/VP of Operations, the Sr. Dir. of Center Operation:The Senior Director of Operations provides operational oversight for assigned imaging centers and is viewed as an "owner" of assigned centers, which includes oversight and accountability for performance under the organizational pillars of Quality, Service, People, Growth and finance. In this role he/she is also responsible for strategic operational planning under each pillar and associated outcomes. This role requires a comprehensive, knowledge of healthcare industry business practices to include budgeting, accounting, and management techniques. He/she must have a working knowledge of clinical and non-clinical operations to include preauthorization, registration, scheduling, and TOS collections practices. Requires the ability to plan and direct the work of others, and to oversee the development of administrative and clinical policies and procedures. He/she must have a current working knowledge of medical and/or healthcare billing, payer contracts, and reimbursement practices to include: coding (ICD 9, ICD 10, CPT, etc.), & billing regulations. He/she must also have a working knowledge of imaging accreditation, and applicable industry regulations (ACR, Medicare, etc.). He/she must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. They must possess the ability to develop program objectives, deadlines, and work within approved budget. Assigns work for completion to self and center leaders to support goal accomplishment. Meets regularly with center leadership team to track progress and discuss any barriers to completing assigned work and/or achieving desired results. Documents progress and achievement in the operation plan workbook.PeopleProvides advice and guidance to Administrators, center leadership, executive management, and outside sources.Develops and maintains effective, positive, and collaborative relationships all stakeholders/customers, i.e. Medical Director, Radiologists, OIA and when applicable, partner/hospital administrator and radiology leadership. Communicates and meets regularly as needed. Includes in decisions as appropriate.Works with and as an extension of OIA HR department to perform local HR responsibilities as needed or directed to ensure established and communicated procedures are followed at the center level, and proper completion and handoff of required paperwork such as PAFs, PRFs, NURF, I9, Applications, etc. are submitted within the established timeframe.Attends/participates in company-wide meetings as scheduled. Has incorporated dedicated time for regular staff meetings, huddles, and training, i.e. competency, in-services, professional development, leadership training, etc.Provides regular, timely and meaningful performance feedback to direct reports during regular meetings & the evaluation process. Properly documents feedback discussion as they occur. Promptly uses and follow the centers "Progressive Disciplinary & Standards of Conduct" policy and procedure with direct reports, when providing meaningful informal verbal feedback on performance is not effective in facilitating the desired change in performance . Ensures the same for all center level leaders for consistency within the center.Develops skills needed in self and others to support and meet the needs of the organization.Provides regular leadership, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports and to all center leadership positions as warranted.Collaborates with Administrators to ensure:Timely recruitment of a high-quality work forceProper orientation and training of new employeesOn-time completion and delivery of performance evaluationsQuality and ServiceEnsures center operations are in compliance with applicable accreditation, regulatory, and safety standards.Responsible for planning a regular travel schedule to centers to provide the necessary level of support and oversight of strategic and operational functions to drive results.Ensures centers programs and strategies are in place for centers under your responsibility:Access to appts within specified service levelProper productivity levels, i.e. labor hours align with volume demand, cross-training of staffCall center service levels, abandoned rate, etc.Timely delivering of reportsManages time effectively and appropriately prioritizing work. Works independently and collaboratively with the executive team, administrators, sales, and OiA support teams garnering input and support to drive results in accomplishing operational goals.Works with Administrator to identify opportunities to increase service levels and takes action to hardwire best practices to promote exceptional service and experience to patients, peers, and external customers.Works with administrator on ensuring use of tools to achieve organizational patient satisfaction goals i.e., AIDET (Acknowledge patient, Introduce yourself, provide Duration/timeline for test, Explain the process & Thank them for choosing the center) and HEAL (Hear them out, Empathize, Apologize, & Leap into action to solve) .GrowthReceives guidance and direction from the VP/EVP of Operations, but plans, develops, and implements programs and projects independently.Works effectively and collaboratively with the Dir. of Sales & Marketing to ensure 1) facilitation and execution of marketing initiatives, such as sales, media relations, publications, events presentations, and promotional activities during and after normal business hours 2) identification of areas for growth and new potential revenue sources and development of sales strategies to capture.Works with Administrator to identify opportunities to increase referral volume and takes action to meet or exceed budgeted volume. hardwire best practices to promote exceptional service and experience to patients, peers, and external customers.Ensure the centers Growth and Sales plan is implemented and being monitored.MAR volume variance being addressedSales metrics are being metGrowth plan completion and effectivenessFinancialIn conjunction with the Administrator, assist with the preparation of center annual operational budget, that includes volumes, staffing expenses and CapX expenditures.Works with administrator to manage expenses within and achieving the approved budget.Works collaboratively with financial analysts to insure financial viability of growth initiatives, i.e. new center location, new service line, equipment addition, etc.Reviews financial statements, sales reports, activity reports, and other performance data with administrators to measure and achieve financial goals.Ensures centers have developed and implemented programs and strategies which address:TOS collections goals are metDenial thresholds & Claim rejection submission rate service level are metRefund & SLA percentages are metAccomplishing our mission takes a team of people, who are dedicated to treating others as they expect to be treated and who consistently demonstrate mutual respect for one another.
