Candidate must have a self-starter mentality and high sense of urgency to be able to execute the build through the development lifecycle. Obtain and document all inspections and ensure quality of work prior to each inspectionUtilize internal software / systems to maintain budgets and job schedulesAdhere to the project schedule by prioritizing tasks dailyAssist in development of Scopes of Work for each tradeAssist in development of bid documents and awarding contractsEnsure jobsite functions in clean and organized fashionAdminister safety program and ensure proper adherence to OSHA regulationsParticipates in procurement process; conduct interviews with project management prior to awarding contractsDevelop full understanding of the project specifications, contract documents, finish schedules and design and ensure that we are adhering to all requirementsEnsure that all applicable code requirements are adhered to by subcontractorsCreate scheduling template utilizing appropriate sequencing, logic, and durations. Update and communicate schedule to subcontractors daily. Perform constant project look ahead to ensure that project milestones are being met.Execute QC / QA program and ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds Signature Homes standardsSkills / Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred5-10 years working on commercial projects strongly preferredOSHA 30-hour course completion cardStrong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills are necessary. Ability to identify issues / deficiencies, record, and monitor items through completion are critical to jobsite success.Knowledge of all phases of the construction processExtensive working knowledge of all applicable code requirements Knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Project (or other scheduling software)Highly skilled in communication, organization, teamwork, attention to detail, time management, interpretation of contract documents, layout, conflict of resolution, and craft knowledgeThis person should maintain a positive and professional working relationship with customers, sub-contractors, and coworkers with a constant commitment of teamwork and exemplary customer service.
