Signature Homes is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with commercial experience in our Nashville, TN market. Candidate must have a self-starter mentality and high sense of urgency to be able to execute the build through the development lifecycle.

• We have fun! Job Responsibilities: The Senior Project Manager will drive quality, accuracy, schedule, and accountability through sub-contractors to confirm all work is completed according to Signature Homes standards.
  • Oversee daily jobsite activities to assure the project is constructed according to plans and specifications.
  • Obtain and document all inspections and ensure quality of work prior to each inspection
  • Utilize internal software / systems to maintain budgets and job schedules
  • Adhere to the project schedule by prioritizing tasks daily
  • Assist in development of Scopes of Work for each trade
  • Assist in development of bid documents and awarding contracts
  • Ensure jobsite functions in clean and organized fashion
  • Administer safety program and ensure proper adherence to OSHA regulations
  • Participates in procurement process; conduct interviews with project management prior to awarding contracts
  • Develop full understanding of the project specifications, contract documents, finish schedules and design and ensure that we are adhering to all requirements
  • Ensure that all applicable code requirements are adhered to by subcontractors
  • Create scheduling template utilizing appropriate sequencing, logic, and durations.
  • Update and communicate schedule to subcontractors daily.
  • Perform constant project look ahead to ensure that project milestones are being met.
  • Execute QC / QA program and ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds Signature Homes standards Skills / Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
    • 5-10 years working on commercial projects strongly preferred
    • OSHA 30-hour course completion card
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills are necessary. Ability to identify issues / deficiencies, record, and monitor items through completion are critical to jobsite success.
    • Knowledge of all phases of the construction process
    • Extensive working knowledge of all applicable code requirements
    • Knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Project (or other scheduling software)
    • Highly skilled in communication, organization, teamwork, attention to detail, time management, interpretation of contract documents, layout, conflict of resolution, and craft knowledge
