seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to
drive our expansion and revenue generation efforts in the Brentwood market and
beyond. Candidates should have strong working knowledge of substance use
disorder treatment and the importance of dignity and respect for the population
served.
Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and executing
strategic initiatives to identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities for AmWell. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will leverage their deep industry knowledge, strong
networking skills, and proven sales expertise to drive revenue growth and
market presence.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve
revenue and growth targets in the Brentwood market and surrounding regions.

Identify and research potential clients, markets, and industries to understand
trends, needs, and opportunities.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through targeted
prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts.

Conduct market analysis and competitor assessments to inform strategic
decision-making and positioning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored proposals,
presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate the value proposition
of AmWell to potential clients.

Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and the closing of deals while
ensuring alignment with company goals and policies.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including
clients, partners, and industry influencers.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market
dynamics to proactively identify new business opportunities.

Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities,
progress towards goals, and market insights to the executive team.

Mentor, coach, and develop business development team members to foster a
high-performing and collaborative culture.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced
degree preferred.

2+ years of demonstrated success in business development, sales, or related
roles within the [industry/sector].

Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets and
driving business growth.

Strong understanding of the Brentwood business landscape, including key
industries, competitors, and market trends.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities
for expansion.

Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing abilities.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.

Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.

Willingness to travel as needed.
