Centennial Medical Center!The TCT Quality Coordinator is
responsible for the overall facilitation of the Sara Cannon
Transplant and Cellular Therapy Programs quality and accreditation.
This position will development, implementation, evaluation and
provide maintenance of all standard operating policies, procedures
and protocols, as well as, the quality management plan (clinical,
collection and processing programs). This position will have
familiarity with the Standards of the American College of Surgeons
Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for
Breast Centers (NAPBC), and Foundation for the Accreditation of
Cellular Therapy (FACT), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), The
Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
(CMS), and other applicable laws and regulations. This position
also coordinates regulatory and accreditation survey activities,
including on-site inspections and any follow-up to ensure
compliance, with assistance from other departments. The regulatory
manager develops and maintains an effective intra-disciplinary
communication network within the program and across the entire
organization. This position will act as an expert resource to
others regarding hematologic malignancy and stem cell
transplantation processes, standards of care and regulatory
requirements.Qualifications1. Valid TN RN License.2. BS or BSN,
Masters preferred3. 4 years experience in clinical area of
assignment and/or Stem Cell Transplantation4. 2 years experience
with Quality/Utilization Management/Performance Improvement
initiatives5. Detail oriented, analytical abilities well organized,
and able to work independently6. Excellent oral and written
communication skills.7. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft
Office)General Essential Functions1. Serves as the Sarah Cannon
Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program (SCTCTP) Quality
Coordinator 2. Develops and submits to SCTCTP leadership
recommendations for the programs Quality Management Plan3. Ensures
the implementation of program-wide quality management initiatives,
and oversees QMP activities (meetings, calendars, audits, outcome
analyses, deviation reports, etc)4. Establishes, implements and
maintains performance metrics (collections, clinical, processing).
5. Analyzes and reports quality control and process improvement
data. 6. Generates meaningful reports and evaluates patient and
program outcomes.7. Evaluates the suitability and effectiveness of
the Quality Management Plan with Medical and Administrative
Directors at predetermined time points and oversees necessary
revisions/updates8. Coordinates activities related to TJC, FACT,
FDA, ACoS and CAP accreditation Acts as liaison to external
regulatory /accrediting agencies. 9. Ensures program compliance
with FACT, FDA and other regulatory agency requirements10. Assists
in the review, revision, development, implementation, coordination
and integration of policies and procedures in accordance with all
government and institution regulations. 11.
Identifies/coordinates/participates/monitors the implementation of
corrective action plans for deficiencies identified through
utilization review clinical record audits, client satisfaction
surveys, TJC/, Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy
(FACT)/ ACoS / FDA/ CAP and other state or federal surveys, and
Performance Improvement Plan. 12. Ensures appropriate documentation
of activities developed, implemented and maintained for the Quality
Management Program. 13. Coordinates/presents Annual Quality
Assurance Report /Program Evaluation. 14.
Coordinates/implements/participates/monitors patient safety
programs, including infection control, hazardous communication,
security, equipment management and inspection and safety audits
across all areas of the SCCBC.This role requires you to be fully
vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law
or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is
