Position Summary:
To perform cardiopulmonary and neurological diagnostic studies and
provide pulmonary therapeutic modalities for assigned inpatients
and outpatients at Williamson Medical Center.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education / Training:
1. Earned a Cardio Respiratory Care diploma or degree from a
college or university.
2. Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
3. Tennessee State license with ABG endorsed.

Equipment and Skills Training:
Network Computer System; Blood Gas Machine; Masimo Pulse Oximetry;
IPPB Machine; Esprit Ventilator; 840 Ventilator; Bear Cub Infant
Ventilators; Eclipse EKG Machine; Holter Monitor; CPAP; BiPAP; PFT
Machines; Bronchoscope; Standard Respiratory Equipment; Meditech OE
System.
Physical Environment:
Office and all areas pertinent to Respiratory Therapy.
Physical Effort:
1. Communicates in English both verbally and in writing.
2. Able to stand and walk for up to twelve hours a day.
3. Able to lift with assistance up to 250 lbs.
Key Results:
Administer cardiopulmonary tests per WMCs policies and
procedure.
Assist co-workers in the delivery of patient care
Document actions taken and patient's response.
Communicate patient's response to actions taken.
Communicate outcomes and opportunities for improvement in patients
respiratory care with the physician
Communicate outcomes and opportunities for improvement in the
respiratory care delivery team/system.
Report abnormal findings.
Participates in respiratory care educational programs and
in-services.
Charges for cardiopulmonary testing in a timely fashion.
Assists with additional office/nursing duties
Maintains and operates diagnostic equipment within physician
office
