Job Description:
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty:
Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year or greater License: RRT
Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience:
Experience in adult care Description: Providing quality health care
to the surrounding areas for over 60 years. Employing more than
1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Fully accredited and governed
by a local board of trustees. The facility is one of the largest
non-government employers in the area. 167-bed healthcare facility.
Level III Trauma Center status. Unit specializes in adult and NICU
care. Number of beds is not applicable. Patient ratios are
determined per treatment provided. Common equipment includes GE
Carescape Ventilators, V60s, and Vapotherms. Electronics health
record system is in use. Reports to the supervisor. Patient
population primarily includes adults. Preferred experience includes
NICU care. Personality fit is important for team dynamics. Dress
code allows any scrub color. No unacceptable attire is
specified.
