Job Description LifePoint is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg
/ Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Gallatin, Tennessee. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry -
Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position Summary: We are
seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Surg Tele RN to join our
night shift team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year
of acute care experience and be comfortable working in a
fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role involves caring
for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing Meditech EHR, and
dispensing medications via Omnicell. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to med
surg/telemetry patients - Monitor and interpret telemetry data and
respond to changes in patient condition - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital
protocols - Document patient care accurately in Meditech - Float to
other med surg units as needed Requirements: - Active RN license
(Tennessee or compact) - Minimum 1 year of recent Med
Surg/Telemetry experience - BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills - Ability to
work every other weekend and adapt to unit needs Unit Details: -
Equipment: Omnicell medication dispensing system - EHR: Meditech -
Float Requirement: Med Surg units as needed
