you to apply! Job Summary and Qualifications The Respiratory
Therapy Assistant is an equipment and inventory technician who
cleans, monitors, and maintains all routine respiratory care
equipment through out the hospital, including medical oxygen
supply. He/She must utilize technical clinical thinking for
assisting therapists to meet the needs of patients. The Respiratory
Therapy Assistant promotes customer service initiatives. What you
will do in this role: Perform daily equipment processing of all
respiratory equipment: Disassemble process, clean, assemble, and
test all respiratory equipment according to department policies and
procedures. Responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining
respiratory supplies/equipment using LEAN process within the
Respiratory Care Departmentandtopatient careareas,this includes
rental equipment. Assistin performing inventory of department
equipment and supplies,countssupplies with 100% accuracy. Provides
andmaintainsan adequate inventory of all oxygen gas cylinders in
department storage areas andonall patient care areas. Provide
assistance toRespiratory Care Practitioners, as necessary,
according to department policies and procedures. Identifyand
retrieve all electrical equipment dueforcalibration and regular
preventative maintenance anddeliverstoBiomedicalEngineering
department on a scheduled basis. Assistinmaintaininga clean work
areain the department:assurethat all supplies are neatly stored and
the work area is cleared of hazards 100% oftime. What
qualifications you will need: High School Graduate / GED Current
