Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Circulator OR Job Details: • Full-time Monday through Friday operating room circulator position • Provide nursing care to patients in compliance with recognized Standards of Practice and State Practice Act Standards • Supervise and direct patient care in a single operating room • Assess patients and family needs to provide quality care • Organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel for effective case management • Prepare operating room according to patient/procedure requirements • Implement plan of care safely including patient positioning, padding bony prominences, and ensuring respiratory/circulatory protection • Conduct "time out" process before incision to ensure correct patient, procedures, and surgical site • Maintain asepsis during all procedures and open sterile items to sterile fields • Account for all sponges, needles, and sharps during and after procedures • Anticipate surgical team needs and assist anesthesia personnel • Current state Registered Nurse license required • Minimum of two years operating room nursing experience required • BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS possible • Bachelor's degree preferred • ASC experience preferred • Specialty certification in related areas preferred • Attend all required safety training programs • Follow center exposure control plans for bloodborne and airborne pathogens Facility: This ambulatory surgery center specializes in orthopedic procedures and features state-of-the-art surgical facilities designed to provide high-quality outpatient surgical care.
