Description: SLP needed long term beginning immediately. This
position is Monday to Friday. This would consist of two days of 7.5
hours and one day of 5 hours. The schedule will be flexible and
must meet the needs of students. The SLP will work within an
interdisciplinary team with students enrolled in various vocational
areas of study to provide supports such as: Classroom strategies
for processing information, social skills, and attention to task.
Time management assistance. Recommendations for accommodations
related to communication, speech, social interaction, and following
multi-step commands. Hands-on support in collaboration with
instructors in hands-on training areas. Support for student
internship sites. Other SLP-related evaluations and assessments may
be required. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.
