100 miles to Nashville, TN Why This Role Ongoing general surgery
call coverage at a community hospital Manageable patient volume
with 2-3 calls per day and light admissions Quick 2-week
credentialing turnaround with travel and lodging provided
Assignment Details Start Date: 11/25/2025 End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Call Only Schedule: 24-hour beeper call Practice
Setting: Inpatient Patients per Day: 2-3 Call Type: Beeper,
15-minute response time Call Ratio: 2-3 Call Back: 40% EMR: MEDHOST
Trauma Level: N/A Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in
General Surgery Active Tennessee license or IMLC BLS Clean history
Clinical Details Scope: Broad-based general surgery with adult
focus; pediatrics and trauma preferred Procedures: - Appendectomy,
Cholecystectomy, Hernia Repair, Nissen Fundoplication - Colonoscopy
and Sigmoidoscopy - Breast and thyroid surgery - Minor vascular and
laparoscopic procedures - Chest tube and central line placement -
Cesarean section and hysterectomy (preferred) Support Staff: - RNs:
4 - No MAs, APPs, or office staff required Volume: - Average 1-2
admissions daily - 2-3 phone consults per shift Compensation Rates:
