How you'll contribute A Physical Therapist who excels in this role: - Evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore functional independence. - Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans. - Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function. - Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs. - Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately. - Collaborate with rehab teams and participate in discharge planning. - Perform other duties as assigned. What we're looking for - Clinical knowledge and strong patient rapport-building required. - Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program. - Experience: Previous experience in rehab setting preferred. - License: Current PT license. - Certifications: CPR certification required. More about Southern TN Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg STRHS-Lawrenceburg, formerly Crockett Hospital, is a 99-bed, acute care facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, 85 miles south of Nashville. We have been providing the best healthcare in Lawrence County and surrounding counties in Southern Middle Tennessee since 1974. We expanded the facility and services in 1991 with the addition of an Outpatient Surgery Unit, a state-of-the-art 24-hour physician-staffed Emergency Department, and an Intensive Care Unit. The hospital opened a 10-bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit in 1997, and a Women's Health Center in 1999. Diagnostic imaging services include in-house MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, X-ray, Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. The Rehabilitation Unit provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies. In 2009, a $5.6 million construction was completed which expanded the Emergency Department, Outpatient Surgery Unit and Registration area.
