experience Description: We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered
Nurse to join our team. The unit has 16 beds with patient ratios of
2:1, and occasionally 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing.
During dayshift, a unit secretary is present, and there is
occasional assistance from a nurse extern working as a tech. The
unit is equipped with ventilators, external ventricular drains,
continuous renal replacement therapy, and additional advanced
equipment. Documentation is done through Meditech. Schedule is
created in four-week increments with a minimum requirement of four
weekend shifts within that time frame. Self-scheduling is utilized
to some extent, and management may adjust shifts to ensure balance
across the schedule. Contract labor is the first to float if
staffing needs arise in other departments. Patient care
expectations entail providing attentive and compassionate support
to patients and their families. Required certifications for this
position include ACLS and BLS. The dress code consists of navy
scrubs, both tops and bottoms. Unit-specific policies and
