Job Description:

Medical Center as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. In our
state-of-the-art birthing center located in Smyrna, TN, you will
play a vital role in assisting expectant mothers through the
childbirth process. Our facility is renowned for providing
comprehensive emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, advanced
diagnostics, and surgical services. We are dedicated to offering
the highest standard of care and ensuring the well-being and safety
of mother and child during one of the most critical times of their
lives. Monitor patient vital signs and fetal heart rate, and
administer medications as ordered by the attending physician.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient management
plans, communicate with and educate patients about the stages of
labor. Provide postpartum support and care including but not
limited to lactation support and newborn care. Operate and monitor
medical equipment used in the delivery process. Collaborate with
obstetricians and pediatricians to ensure comprehensive care.
Document all patient interactions and interventions in medical
records. Support patient and family emotional and psychological
needs throughout the childbirth process. Strong clinical skills in
a labor and delivery setting Excellent patient care and
communication skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure
environment Proficient in using electronic health record systems
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of
Tennessee or a compact state. BLS certification required upon hire.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required or must
be obtained within 6 months of hire.
