Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool Nurse to join our dynamic
team. As a PCU Float Pool Nurse, you will provide critical care to
patients in various units throughout our facility, adapting to
different environments and teams. This role is ideal for a flexible
and adaptable RN who thrives in diverse settings and is committed
to delivering exceptional patient care across our comprehensive
healthcare facility. Provide compassionate and efficient care to
patients in the Progressive Care Unit and other assigned areas.
Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the
best possible care and advice. Adjust nursing care plans as
necessary during a patient’s hospital stay. Administer medications,
monitor vital signs, and promptly address any sudden or subtle
changes in a patient’s medical condition. Document all patient
interactions in their medical record following hospital policy.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated
and comprehensive care. Participate in professional development and
clinical training programs to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
Strong clinical skills in a high acuity PCU setting. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly to
varying patient care settings. Proficiency in using healthcare
software and systems. Critical thinking and problem-solving
capabilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Tennessee or compact state. BLS and ACLS certifications
from the American Heart Association.
