Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare facility
in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated Accelerated Rad to
CT Tech to join our dynamic team. This position offers the
opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment with the
latest technology in radiology and computed tomography (CT). As a
Rad to CT Tech, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and
deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and
therapeutic services. You will be part of a team committed to
healthcare excellence and innovation, enhancing patient outcomes
and advancing your skills in a supportive work environment. Operate
radiologic and computed tomography equipment to produce images of
the body for diagnostic purposes under the instruction of a
physician. Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining
the process and positioning patients to achieve precise imaging.
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the
safety of patients and staff. Maintain accurate patient records and
document technical findings for review by physicians. Assist
radiologists during complex radiological examinations. Regular
maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of
advances in radiologic technology and CT imaging. Proficiency in
operating radiologic and CT imaging equipment Strong understanding
of radiation safety and patient positioning techniques Ability to
work effectively in a team and independently Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong
observational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as a
Radiologic Technologist Additional certification in Computed
Tomography (CT) highly preferred
