Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, is seeking a dedicated Mother Baby Nurse to join our
maternal-newborn department. This position offers the opportunity
to work in a dynamic environment that values compassionate care and
clinical excellence. Our facility provides comprehensive healthcare
services including specialized care for mothers and newborns. As a
Mother Baby Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting both
mothers and their babies during the postpartum period, ensuring
their health and well-being with the highest standards of
personalized care. Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers
and newborns in the postpartum period. Educate and support mothers
with breastfeeding techniques and newborn care. Monitor and assess
the health condition of postpartum mothers and their newborns,
ensuring any complications are promptly addressed. Collaborate with
obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to
provide holistic care. Maintain accurate patient records and
administer medications as prescribed. Support the emotional and
physical wellbeing of the mother during the postpartum period.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in
patient and family education Ability to collaborate effectively
with a healthcare team Experience in maternal and newborn care
Knowledge in breastfeeding support and basic neonatal resuscitation

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Tennessee. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Neonatal
Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
