Job Description:

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, a prominent full-service hospital located in Smyrna, TN, is seeking a dedicated Weekend CT Radiology Tech to join our dynamic radiology team. The successful candidate will specialize in administering computed tomography scans to aid in patient diagnostics, working closely within our state-of-the-art facilities that include emergency care, cardiology, and advanced diagnostics among other services. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will operate sophisticated imaging equipment, maintain patient safety, and ensure high standards of practice are adhered to during all procedures. Operate CT imaging equipment to perform scans as per physician orders. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. Assist radiologists during invasive procedures. Monitor patient safety and comfort, and provide them with necessary care before, during, and after procedures. Manage imaging data and relevant patient records in compliance with health regulations. Coordinate with other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care. Adhere to facility radiation safety protocols. Partake in departmental meetings and ongoing training sessions. Proficient in the use of CT technology Strong understanding of radiology protocols and procedures Excellent patient management skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) by the ARRT CT certification by the ARRT preferred but not required
