Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Med Surg
Float Pool Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in
providing top-tier nursing care across various medical-surgical
units within our facility. As a Float Pool Nurse, you are the
backbone of adaptability in the healthcare setting, stepping in to
support multiple specialties by managing patient care, upholding
high standards of nursing practice, and adjusting to varying
clinical environments. This position offers a unique challenge and
requires a nurse who thrives in changing situations and can commit
to delivering consistent, high-quality care to patients in need.
Provide comprehensive patient care across various med-surg units
according to patient needs. Monitor patient conditions and respond
with appropriate interventions. Administer medications and
treatments in accordance with physician orders and established
protocols. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to
optimize patient care. Educate patients and families on health
conditions and post-hospital care. Maintain up-to-date patient
records and document all care provided. Ensure a safe environment
for patients and staff by adhering to infection control policies
and safety guidelines. Strong clinical skills in a med-surg setting
Ability to work well under pressure in different clinical
environments Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Adept at
critical thinking and problem-solving Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse
(RN) licensed to practice in the state of Tennessee. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red
Cross.
