Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, is looking for a dedicated and skilled
Emergency Room Float Pool Nurse to join our dynamic team. This
position involves providing critical care in various emergency room
settings within our facility, ensuring adaptability and
high-quality care to meet the diverse needs of our community. As an
Emergency Room Float Pool Nurse, you will have the unique
opportunity to work across multiple disciplines, aiding in various
emergency situations, from minor injuries to critical conditions.
Our facility is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of
our patients through comprehensive healthcare services, including
emergency care, cardiology, oncology, and beyond. Assess, plan, and
implement nursing care for patients in various emergency
situations. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide
comprehensive care. Rapidly identify life-threatening problems and
provide appropriate interventions. Adjust to varying levels of
acuity and patient load. Maintain accurate patient records and
safely administer medications. Educate patients and their families
on illness and injury prevention. Strong clinical skills in a
variety of emergency settings Excellent decision-making and
problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively as part of a
team Flexibility and resilience under pressure Competence in
critical care protocols and emergency medical procedures Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) desired
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
