This position offers the unique opportunity to work across various medical surgical units, providing critical support where most needed. As a float pool nurse, you will play a crucial role in managing patient care, adapting to different environments, and ensuring high standards of health services in line with our commitment to excellence. Providing direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in various medical surgical units. Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Participating in patient assessments and the formulation of individualized care plans. Ensuring documentation is thorough and reflects the care provided as well as the patient's condition and response. Adjusting care plans as necessary in response to patient conditions and feedback. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Educating patients and their families on disease processes, treatment, and home care preparations. Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical and medical conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work effectively in different medical settings. Proficient in using medical software and patient management systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee. BLS Certification required. ACLS Certification preferred.
