The role is designed to manage and treat patients of all ages suffering from pulmonary disorders and respiratory diseases. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care and engage with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to patient-centered care. Assess and treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Provide emergency care including artificial ventilation, external cardiac massage, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Conduct tests, such as measuring lung capacity, to evaluate patients' respiratory functions. Monitor and manage therapy that will help patients recover lung function. Advise patients and families on lung health and disease prevention. Maintain patient charts and confidential files. Expertise in ventilator management Proficient in pulmonary function testing Ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of Tennessee Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
