of a rhythm test for BLS Description: Unit capacity is 36 beds.
Population served includes adult and geriatric medical/surgical
patients. Ages of patients served range from young adult through
late adult (18 - 60). Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:6. Core
staffing plan is variable to include Registered Nurses (RNs),
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs),
and Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the
