Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Acute Care Neuro
Spine Nurse to join our team, supporting patient care in the
neurology and spinal care units. This position requires a
compassionate, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a
fast-paced environment and is committed to the recovery and
well-being of patients with neurological and spinal conditions. As
a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will work across
nearly 2,000 sites of care, including state-of-the-art hospitals
and specialized surgery centers, focussing on delivering the
highest standards of care in alignment with our mission to improve
human life. Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in
collaboration with healthcare teams. Monitor patient progress and
adjust treatments as necessary. Assist surgeons during operations
and oversee postoperative care. Educate patients and their families
about conditions and maintenance of their health. Maintain accurate
patient records and report any pertinent changes in patient
condition to the relevant healthcare practitioner. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed. Strong understanding of
neurology and spinal care. Exceptional ability to monitor and
assess patient status and health. Skill in using medical equipment
related to neuro and spine health. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to
practice. Certification in Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) or similar
is preferred.
