Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Stepdown care to provide high-quality patient services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your clinical skills in managing patients requiring close monitoring after intensive care. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients in the Stepdown unit for changes in condition Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN license in good standing Proven experience in a Stepdown or progressive care setting Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred Location:This role is based in Decatur, GA, a vibrant city known for its welcoming community, rich history, and excellent dining and entertainment options.
