Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN/Contract Organization: The Arc of Madison County Location: Madison County, AL Job Type: Contract, PRN About the Role The Arc of Madison County is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support young children with developmental needs. This role focuses on improving early communication and foundational daily living skills in a supportive, community-based environment and home visitation. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations of speech and language development in children. Provide individualized early intervention therapy services. Support development of communication skills, including social language and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility to obtain one. Experience in early childhood or pediatric settings preferred. CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is a plus.
