Williamson Health and Wellness Center seeks a Certified Scrub Tech to join our surgical team, bringing expertise to our operating rooms. Our center excels in providing community-centric healthcare aimed at wellness and innovative solutions to meet the specific needs of Williamson, WV. The role requires a detailed understanding of sterile techniques, equipment setup, and procedural assistance to ensure safe and effective patient care during surgeries. Prepare operating room for surgical procedures by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions Assemble, adjust, and check non-sterile equipment Ensure all instruments work properly Assist surgeons during surgery by passing instruments and other sterile supplies Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection Handle specimens taken for laboratory analysis Provide patient care under the direct supervision of surgical staff Proficiency in sterile and non-sterile techniques Understanding of surgical procedures and medical terminology Ability to work quickly and efficiently in high stress situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certification from a recognized Surgical Technologist program BLS Certification preferred
