As a PRN nurse in our observation unit, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and assessing patients with varying conditions and determining their need for further medical attention. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology and resources, ensuring that you are supported in your role to make informed and effective decisions in patient care. Monitor and assess the condition of patients within the observation unit. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any side effects. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the need for further medical treatment. Document patient status and the care provided in the patient’s health record. Educate patients and their families on the patient's condition and post-visit care requirements. Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and monitor patient conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
