What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient OB hospitalist coverage for the facility
• Serve as backup call support for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
• Manage and support high-risk obstetrical deliveries
• Collaborate closely with CNMs (CNMs take first call and are surgical first assist trained)
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including 24/7 anesthesia, neonatology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists
• Respond to callback needs while maintaining required proximity (15 minutes) to the hospital
• Support high-volume obstetrical care (approximately 600 annual deliveries) using Meditech EMR

What You Need
Required

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Tennessee medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum 2 years of OB Hospitalist experience
• High-risk delivery experience

Preferred

• Experience working in settings with multidisciplinary support (anesthesia/neonatology/MFM) and high OB delivery volumes

About the Assignment
This OB/GYN Hospitalist assignment provides inpatient OB coverage with strong team support, including CNMs who take first call and are trained as surgical first assist, along with 24/7 anesthesia, neonatology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists. You ll manage high-risk deliveries and maintain on-call proximity (15 minutes) while covering approximately 600 annual deliveries in Meditech.
