Job Description *YOU MUST BE A LICENSED EMT, AEMT OR PARAMEDIC
TO APPLY* If you are licensed in another state and looking to move
to Tennessee, that is acceptable. We can help you with the
reciprocity process. If you are in school, that is fine too, but
you cannot start until you complete your program and receive your
state license. \n If you are not licensed or in school for this
position, please do not waste our time or yours \n \n $2000 (EMT)
$2500 (AEMT) $3500 (Paramedic) $5000 (Vent or Critical Care
Paramedic) sign on bonuses! \n \n Pay ranges from $23/hr to $40/hr
depending on your level of care (Basic, Advanced, Paramedic, Vent
Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic, Community Paramedic), extra
credentials (instructor certs, etc.) and experience level. These
rates include night shift differential. \n · Emergency care of the
sick and injured \n · Advanced Life Support (cardiac monitoring,
ACLS and other emergency medications) \n · Non-emergency
transportation of patients who require ambulance transport \n ·
Daily inventory of ambulance equipment and supplies \n · Daily
mechanical inspection of ambulance \n · Timely and accurate
documentation of patient transports \n · Patient advocacy ensuring
proper documentation and all needed paperwork are completed and
present so patient can qualify for their insurance benefits to
cover their transportation \n · Maintaining all required
certifications and CEU hours to maintain EMS license in good
standing \n · Maintaining good physical condition so as to be able
to properly perform all job duties \n · Maintaining professional
appearance; i.e., well groomed, uniform neat and clean \n ·
Maintaining ambulance in a clean and orderly fashion, stocked to TN
State standards \n Qualifications: \n · TN State EMT, AEMT or
Paramedic License in good standing (if coming from out of state, we
can help with reciprocity. If in training, you can apply prior to
receiving certification, but cannot work until it is received). \n
· At least 21 years of age preferred due to insurance requirements
for driving. If not 21, there may be availability for non-driver
Paramedics at management’s discretion. \n · BLS CPR \n · Pediatric
Training: PALS (required) (for Paramedics) \n · ACLS (required for
Paramedics) \n · PHTLS \n · Willing to submit to a background check
and drug screen \n · No felony convictions \n · Not ever been
excluded from a federally funded insurance program such as Medicare
\n · Good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition which
would not be adversely affected by having times to lift, move,
carry and balance while moving in excess of 125 pounds (250 pounds
