Do:The Senior HR Business Analyst- HCM works with key stakeholders
to identify system enhancement and business process improvement
opportunities for HR Technology products and related functional HR
processes in products including core HCM, Talent systems, Learning
Management systems, Employee Relations systems, employee workflows,
employee document management and others. Serves as the primary
point of contact and HR liaison for HR-related technology projects
and business process improvement projects. Coordinates HR project
team members and is the HR lead for HR technology project tasks,
design and adaptation of HR business processes, change management
planning, and communications planning. Leads business-side
activities to develop use case scenarios and functional
requirements.
Serves as the primary HR contact to
gather business requirements and use cases for product features,
process improvement solutions, system enhancements, and project
implementations for HR technology products. Participates in or
leads multiple projects that are at varying stages of completion.
Captures and monitors action items for assigned projects and
activities.Responsible for business-side coordination for HR
Technology supported application features, process workflows, and
correspondence, and recognizing impacts of any proposed changes.
Clearly articulates system and business process impacts back to
project teams and leaders for further discussion and investigation.
Coordinates with IT to review HR Technology system release notes
and upgrade communications to align messaging and timing for
impacted users. Helps facilitate discussions to determine interest
in new feature adoption. Translates and documents non-technical
requirements into technical concepts with a comprehensive
understanding of HR applications, technical and process
interdependencies. Identifies options for potential solutions
(system and business process). Collaborates with IT to jointly
assess potential solutions for both technical and business
suitability. Recognizes current limitations and difficulties that
may impact potential solutions. Defines requirements using
interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys,
site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios,
business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis to define business
solutions.Organizes and prioritizes requirements based on review
sessions with stakeholders. Translates those requirements into
packages used for vendor RFI's, RFP's, scorecards and to provide
the foundation for test cases. Works with System Analysts to
maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.Serves as the
primary point of contact in HR for reporting of business-side
issues for assigned applications and/or projects. Communicates and
collaborates with IT and/or the vendor on issue resolution. Keeps
HR business users up to date on progress and status.Proactively
analyzes complex business solutions identifying process gaps, and
recommending solutions to improve efficiency and business
performance through automated systems or business process changes.
Defines, models and documents current and future state business
processes. In coordination with project teams, leads business teams
through user acceptance testing activities to ensure that HR
systems meet the outlined requirements. Validates configuration
aligns to requirements and business case. Serves as escalation
point for HR for active technology projects and/or HR technologies,
as needed. Stays current on features and roadmaps for assigned HR
Technology portfolio products. Investigates new features of
application and related technologies with IT counterparts. Ensures
alignment with the business by attending business strategy and
planning meetings.Upskills members of the HR Technology team on
product capabilities, solution background, HR business processes,
current gaps and future needs. Domestic U.S. travel may be
required. Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited college
or university with a Bachelor's degree is required. Five years of
business process definition and analysis experience with a broad
array of HR applications and employee relations processes is
required. Additional years of related work experience may be
substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up
to two years. Two years' experience in the HR domain documenting
requirements, defining business process changes (via Visio or other
modeling tool) and presenting to groups of HR business users is
required. Experience with the Cornerstone on Demand enterprise
suite and JDE HR modules preferred. Additional experience with HR
systems for Talent Management, Learning, Performance, Succession,
HCM, Employee Relations, HR Case Management, HR Knowledge
Management, and employee workflows is preferred. PMP certified, Six
Sigma certified, SDLC certified and/or Agile certified is
preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is
requiredMinimum Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age.A valid
