Primary Function

APCOM's facility in Franklin, Tennessee, manufactures electric thermostats, pipe nipples, dip tubes, elements, and burner assemblies. The 3rd Shift Cycle Counter will assist with inventory and warehouse operations in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.

• Regular Scheduled Hours: Sunday - Thursday 9:45pm - 6:15am (CST)
• Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.39 , Must Train on 1st shift for 2 weeks max
• Sign On Bonus Opportunity - $1500
• $500 at 90th day of hire
• $500 at 6 month day of hire

  Basic Function:
  
  The Cycle Counter assists in maintaining inventory and records of warehouse and in-process materials and finished goods for production. The incumbent will be responsible for verifying actual material counts and keeping a clean, safe working environment. Requires a general understanding of the overall processes and the ability to understand and follow basic good warehousing and manufacturing practices and guidelines.
  
  Responsibilities
  
  
  • Verify quantities by location for warehouse, in-process, and finished goods as directed by supervisor or cycle count sheet.
  • Audit transactions that are entered electronically into inventory control locator system.
  • Cycle count, as required, all inventory in the warehouse to include packaging supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation (written and / or electronically recorded).
  • Identify and communicate all potential problem areas (i.e. labelling, materials, packaging, storage, and discrepancies) to the Materials Manager and Inventory Control Specialist.
  • Reconcile and identify source of any discrepancies found in inventory and report them to the Materials Manager.
  • Change status of product as necessary.
  • Follows all established company, state, and federal safety rules and guidelines and communicates all hazards and safety issues to Team Members, Supervisors and Management.
  • Directly responsible for the proper support of all other team members to ensure a positive team environment.
    
    Skills and Abilities:
    
    
    • Previous manufacturing and / or warehouse experience preferred
    • Experience in inventory capacity preferred
    • Good organizational skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership team
      
      Performance Objectives:
      
      Assist in improving inventory accuracy throughout the organization.
      
      Assist in Root Cause Analysis Method to Reduce Negative Inventory Adjustments.
      
      Education and Experience:
      
      High School Diploma or GED. Previous Cycle Counting or inventory control/analysis preferred bun not required.
