Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and enhance our human resources initiatives across a diverse network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. This pivotal role involves strategic workforce planning, enhancing employee relations, and supporting our mission to provide high-quality, comprehensive care. The HR Director will work closely with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals and promote an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. Manage the recruitment and selection process. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization. Nurture a positive working environment. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain pay plan and benefits program. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Proven experience as an HR Director or other HR executive Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, training, etc.) Ability to strategize and formulate business plans Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or HRCI's Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
