Kelly Services is actively seeking an HR Specialist for Nissan at their Franklin, TN location. (North American HQ)

This is an indefinite contract opportunity to join a great team!

HR Specialist

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree - 1 - 3 years or more of directly related experience at a professional level

Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint), other PC applications, or mainframe applications to create specialized applications or products. Working knowledge of HRIS systems (i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft) a plus. Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.

Job Knowledge and Skills: General knowledge of the Human Resources function. Detail oriented with critical ability in coordination of administrative duties, data analysis and data management. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good problem solving, conflict resolution and project management skills. Ability to build relationships and multi-task across various projects.

Job Description

Supports the development of programs, policies and procedures supporting the Marketing & Sales HR Business Partner (HRBP) function. Provides administrative support and analysis of critical needs by directly work with HRBPs, business leaders and cross-functional HR teams. Key areas of focus include HRIS Administration, Talent Management, Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Employee Engagement.

Describe the principle, core primary tasks that a person in this position performs daily

Data Management: Serve as HRBP lead in execution of HR system transactions and reporting including, but not limited to: Support of the job requisition process (creation/tracking of requisitions, etc.), job data changes, processing of employee documents, and generation of reports (new hires, terminations, transfers, attrition, diversity etc.).

Communications: Write, create and/or update HRBPs, HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and functional client group communications including, but not limited to organizational charts, presentations, promotional letters and internal memos, scheduling of meetings and calendar maintenance.

KPI Tracking: Assist assigned Hoshin Kanri Coordinator in data gathering and reporting of commitments and targets for the HRBP team.

New Hire Onboarding: Serve as HRBP point of contact for collection and processing of new hire paperwork. Assist HRBP team in new hire administration.

Data Analysis: Proactively read, interpret, analyze and leverage data and metrics (e.g., HR data analytics, business unit metrics) to answer questions, identify trends, and solve problems.

HR Efficiency Projects: Develop standard reports and KPIs to track various HRBP targets and commitments. Actively engage and plan with HRBPs, HR COEs and functional client groups to develop trust and credibility. Maintain effective working relationships with all levels of company management and staff to ensure high levels of service. Assist HRBPs, HR COEs and employees with questions and issues and confirm resolution in a timely manner.

Administrative duties: May assist with scheduling meetings, booking travel, and completing expense reports. Maintain a positive outlook and stay motivated to team and clients. Seek to generate innovative and creative solutions and alternatives even under resource constraints, demonstrating perseverance in achieving objectives despite obstacles. As necessary, perform other related duties of which the above are representative.

--- W2/ HOURLY PAY RATE: Open (based upon experience and qualifications)
