Job Description:

The IT Systems Administrator is a key member of the Prime Health Services (PHS) IT team. This position is responsible for ensuring the operational integrity, daily oversite of, and hands-on involvement with the company's servers, PCs, systems (including phone system), and network to include - administration, support, install, infrastructure upgrades, backup, disaster recovery, networking and system security, maintenance, inventory, etc. in order to meet the high demands expected from the IT Department. The IT Systems Administrator is a go to resource for various software applications.
Essential Job Functions

• 
  
• Monitors daily flows of EDI files, reporting results and addressing real time processing issues timely
  
• Uses appropriate tools to import/export data on a timely basis
  
• Communicates with clients and resolves issues, as necessary
  
• Monitors and maintains systems according to requirements outlined with internal security policies and guidelines
  
• Manages computer operation schedules, backup, storage and restoration functions
  
• Reviews diagnostics and assesses systems functionality and efficiency
  
• Oversees the installation, maintenance, and updates of company software and hardware as needed
  
• Schedules and executes infrastructure and system upgrades and patches to address security issues, bug fixes and functional enhancements
  
• Server installation and upgrades including virtual infrastructure monitoring and maintenance

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study from an accredited college or university
    
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems and software (Microsoft Windows)
    
    Preferred Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • Experience administrating, configuring and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure (Microsoft Azure IaaS)
      
    • Experience with Watchguard firewall
      
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP network architecture, performance and monitoring technologies
      
    • Experience with Windows Active Directory/Group Policy
