Tom James is the World's largest manufacturer and retailer of made-to-order clothing and the engine behind one of the most established tailored clothing brands. - As one of the few remaining vertically integrated clothing retailers-controlling the entire manufacturing process 'from sheep to suit' - we offer unparalleled value to those with an eye for quality.We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, highly motivated, and results-oriented individual to join our team. - Qualified applicants must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, understand the team's goals and effectively prioritize their efforts. -GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION - Develop and write computer programs to perform specific tasks related to organizational goals - Create workflow diagrams and charts to demonstrate the functionality of programs before coding them - Run software tests to spot and resolve bugs and inconsistencies - Write code for software patches and bug fixes - Work with team members to find creative, innovative solutions to problems - Collaborate with other departments to understand their needs and devise ways to accommodate them with software - Perform regular audits to identify software inefficiencies and mastermind ways to improve workflow - Write and continually update documentation for all programs for internal and external reference - Provide additional support as neededREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - - -Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in code - Must have excellent creative problem solving skills - Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team - Exemplify superior time management skills - Capable of working with minimal supervision - Ability to follow directions closely and accurately - Strong work ethicKNOWLEDGE OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES such as:

• RPG/LE/Free-format, CLLE Programming, iSeries/SQL including embedded SQL in RPGLE programs and -DDL structure.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Assistance with modernization proceduresAdditional Desirable Programming Skills or Training:
  • Experience with payroll and accounting application development and support
  • Microsoft web technologies (ASP/ASPX/VBScript/VB.NET) or other web development experience
  • Database administration and optimization
  • Ability to research and analyze data -WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 5 years' experience with IBM I and minimum of 5 years' experience utilizing RPG/LE/free-format, CLLE programming, iSeries/SQL including embedded SQL in RPGLE programs and DDL structure -EQUIPMENT / SOFTWARE USED
