Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL EO/Driver
II to join our team of skilled professionals in the transportation
and logistics department. As an industry leader in environmental
services, we are committed to maintaining safety and sustainability
while providing top-tier hazardous waste disposal and emergency
response services across North America. In this role, you will be
crucial in managing and conducting transportation tasks, handling
hazardous materials and ensuring the secure and compliant disposal
of waste materials. Safely operate Class A and B commercial
vehicles including tankers, roll-offs, and vacuum trucks. Transport
hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with federal,
state, and local regulations. Perform daily inspections on
equipment and vehicles to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
Respond to emergency spills and environmental incidents as
required, providing timely and effective solutions. Maintain
accurate logs and records as per company and regulatory
requirements. Participate in regular training sessions for safety
procedures and handling of hazardous materials. Collaborate with
dispatch and operations team to improve service quality and
efficiency. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in handling hazardous materials. Excellent time
management and navigation skills. Ability to maintain accurate logs
and compliance documentation. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A or Class B Commercial
Driver’s License (CDL) with hazardous materials and tanker
endorsements. DOT (Department of Transportation) medical
certification. Safety and Hazmat handling certifications
preferred.
