Job Description:
Title: Distribution Clerk Purpose: This role plays a key part in
connecting our community with WeGo Public Transit by ensuring the
public has access to transit information. The position oversees the
distribution of schedules, brochures, palm cards, signage and more
across WeGo facilities and partner locations throughout the region.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating deliveries,
maintaining a digital inventory of printed materials and
distribution sites, posting signage at transit centers, and lending
support to community outreach and clerical duties as needed. This
job provides an opportunity to connect directly with our customers
and make a visual impact throughout the communities we serve daily.
Reports to: Communications Manager Job Functions 1. Information
Distribution Distribute signage, schedules, maps and other
literature to assigned locations, ranging from 50 to 150 Restock
schedule racks as needed and according to schedule, keeping digital
inventory of distribution Unload and sort large shipment of
schedules and maps during biannual service changes (a minimum of
twice a year and up to four times a year) Remove out-of-date
materials from customer information areas; replace with most recent
versions of information/marketing items Notify supervisor with
specific location of any damaged signage or schedule rack, requests
for a new schedule rack, or the removal of a schedule rack Pick up
schedules and other materials to be delivered to our transit
centers and other assets Post/remove signs/flyers at train stations
(Davidson and Wilson counties) Post/remove signs in 11x17 frames at
transit centers 2. General Admin Maintain digital distribution list
Prepare daily reports of printed material distributed, including
inventory distributed at each location for each route/system map
Maintain digital spreadsheet of current inventory Report any
problems with the distribution and stocking of the materials,
problems with schedule racks, or other problems that may arise
Develop a delivery schedule by day and by area of city Provide a
monthly digital inventory report Provide inventory of advertising
on buses as needed Maintain organized vehicle and storage area 3.
Deliveries Pick up and/or deliver various signage Deliver mail to
WeGo properties Deliver oil samples from maintenance to post office
as needed Deliver tickets and other materials for finance as needed
Deliver lost and found items Performs other duties as assigned The

or GED equivalent, be reliable, have a valid driver's license, and
safe driving record. Knowledge of the Davidson County area is a
plus. Must be able to drive, follow traffic laws and safety
procedures, stand, reach, bend, stoop and/or lift on a frequent
basis and for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and
carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Employee is occasionally
exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme
