Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a global nonprofit engaged in relief, development, and peace initiatives, is seeking a proficient Process Technician to support our manufacturing operations in the sustainable development projects sector. This role will contribute to improving production processes and maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our production lines, aligning with MCC's commitment to innovation and sustainability in humanitarian aid programs. As a Process Technician at MCC, you will apply your skills to optimize production efficiency and quality, ensuring that our manufacturing processes align not only with industry standards but also enhance our mission-driven initiatives. Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity. Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. Assess the efficiency of operations and propose actionable improvements. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement sustainable manufacturing practices. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production area. Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety protocols. Document production data and report issues to management efficiently. Proficient in mechanical and electronic systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Adept at process improvement techniques. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with statistical analysis software or tools is a plus.
