Job Description Job Description Industrial Painter Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Industrial Painter for a company based in Cullman AL. In this role you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining painting equipment and overhead cranes in accordance with the site’s business goals and objectives. Pay Range $18 & up – based on experience Schedule and Hours Dayshift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm/5:30pm Nightshift: Sun: 11:00p-7:00a / Mon-Thur 9:00p-7:00a Industrial Painter Duties and Responsibilities Weigh or measure chemicals, coatings, or paints before adding them to paint equipment. Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, using paint mixing equipment. Set up and operate machines to paint or coat products with paint or rustproofing materials. Turn dials, handwheels, valves, or switches to regulate equipment temperature, air pressure and circulation, and the flow or spray of coatings or paints. Start and stop operation of machines, using levers or buttons. Operating equipment used in coating or painting processes. Attach hoses or nozzles to machines, using wrenches and pliers, and adjust obtain the proper dispersion of spray. Transfer completed items or products from paint areas to drying or storage areas or cranes. Hold or position spray guns to direct spray onto product. Industrial Painter Qualifications and Requirements • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently or within a team. • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. • Must be able to spend most of the workday standing and walking. • Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail. • Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test/pulmonary function report annually.
